Job Description
Northern Recruitment is seeking a Managing Director for their client KCH to lift SOE performance and reinforce financial and operational discipline across its portfolio. Kumul Consolidated Holdings (KCH) is Papua New Guinea’s sovereign commercial holding institution, holding the State’s majority SOE interests through the General Business Trust (GBT).
Responsibilities
The Managing Director will lead SOE reform and restructuring, including capital optimization and strategic partnerships, oversee major infrastructure investment and funding strategies, and enhance governance, risk management, and transparency across all entities. The Managing Director will also engage senior stakeholders, including Government, Boards, regulators, and strategic partners.
Requirements:
Relevant tertiary qualification with 10+ years’ experience at CEO/MD or equivalent level.
- Demonstrated success in turnaround, restructuring, or large-scale transformation
- Strong commercial, financial, and strategic capability, including capital management.
