PNG National Businessman Non-EX Officio Director for MRA Board
The Mineral Resources Authority (MRA) is currently inviting applications from Papua New Guinean National Businessmen for the position of Non-Ex Officio Director on its Board. This role is intended to support the strategic governance of the authority and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the minerals sector.
Responsibilities:
The Papua New Guinean National Businessman Non-Ex Officio Director will serve as a member of the MRA Board, providing strategic guidance and oversight on the Authority’s operations and governance. The Director will support the achievement of key deliverables, including sector growth, regulatory effectiveness, and increased mineral revenue for Papua New Guinea.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years working experience in the mining sector or in business, and has served as a Board Director on other Boards.
- Master’s Degree from a recognised international or PNG Tertiary Institution.
- Member to the Papua New Guinea Institute of Directors and Australian Institute of Company Directors.
