QHSSE Manager
Total Waste Management is seeking a QHSSE Manager to join its team in Papua New Guinea. Total Waste Management is a leading provider of integrated waste management and environmental services, delivering safe, sustainable, and compliant solutions to clients across the resources, industrial, commercial, and community sectors throughout PNG.
Responsibilities:
The QHSSE Manager will lead all Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory, company, and client requirements. The role includes maintaining integrated QHSSE systems, leading risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations, and fostering a proactive safety culture. The successful candidate will also oversee QHSSE training and reporting and drive continuous improvement in safety, environmental, and quality performance.
Requirements:
- Degree, diploma, or equivalent in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Quality or Risk Management, or a related field.
- Cert IV in WHS, NEBOSH IGC, ISO Lead Auditor, or equivalent certifications are highly regarded.
- Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in a senior QHSSE role within industries such as mining, construction, logistics, or oil & gas.
