Senior Accountant
Kroton Laitepo Equities Limited seeks a highly experienced Senior Accountant to lead its financial operations. The company is a Papua New Guinean landowner firm representing the clans of Petroleum Development Licence 7 (PDL 7) in the Hides Gas Field and managing PNG LNG Project equity dividends for its stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, including debtors, creditors, payroll, bank reconciliations, and monthly SWT and GST returns. This role requires maintaining accurate financial records in MYOB, analyzing data, posting entries, and preparing reports up to the Trial Balance stage to support effective financial management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or similar)
- CPA-PNG Membership or working towards it
- 5-10 years’ work experience, hands on knowledge and use of MYOB accounting program (3-5 years),
