Ela Motors is seeking a suitably skilled and motivated candidate to fill in the position of Service Manager based in Lae.

Reporting to the Dealership Manager, this position will ensure that customer satisfaction and high quality service standards are met at all times, thus contributing to the overall aim of achieving profitability within the service department. Managing the department’s resources appropriately and maintaining employee morale are also crucial.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise, manage and oversee, the overall Service Department.
• Monitor and achieve set performance and budget targets.
• Conduct weekly analysis of key point indicators (Productivity, Efficiency, Labour Sales, Gross Profit, etc.)

Qualifications & skills

• Strong mechanical background, with at least 4 years’ experience in overseeing and/or supervising service operations.
• Demonstrated ability to control a large workshop.
• Good organisational skills, in terms of people, assets and processes.
