Superintendent – Bige Technical Services
Ok Tedi Mining Limited seeks an experienced Superintendent – Bige Technical Services to lead a team delivering safe, efficient, and cost-effective technical support for Bige Operation. The company operates PNG’s longest-running world-class open-pit copper, gold, and silver mine and is 100% PNG-owned.
Responsibilities:
The role leads engineering, surveying, rehabilitation, and dredge reclamation activities, and provides technical oversight of pyrite concentrate (PCon) storage facilities. The successful candidate will deliver civil, mining, and infrastructure projects safely, on time, and within budget while managing contractors and technical service providers. The position also drives safety, environmental compliance, cost control, operational performance, and the development of a multidisciplinary technical services team.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in mining, Civil, Geotechnical Engineering or related discipline
- Mining 10 years’ experience in mining, civil infrastructure, tailings storage or related industries
- Strong project management in engineering design, earthworks, mine waste storage and Civil infrastructure.
