New Chairman at Kumul Telikom Holdings, Nautilus Minerals, a new High Commissioner to Australia, KPMG, SLR Consulting

Public Enterprise and State Investment Minister William Duma has announced the appointment of Andrew Johnson as the new Chairman of Kumul Telikom Holdings, which  oversees the operation and administration of state-owned telecommunication companies Telikom, PNG DataCo and bmobile.

Nautilus Minerals has announced the appointment of Tariq Al Barwani as its new non-executive Chairman, replacing Russell Debney. Al Barwani joined the Company’s board in May 2016. He is a director and shareholder of MB Holding Company, Nautilus’ largest shareholder.

Adam Wright, Vice-President, PNG Operations, has resigned from the company, effective from the end of February.

Personnel Management Secretary, John Kali, has been appointed as PNG’s next High Commissioner to Australia. He replaces Sir Charles Lepani.

Other diplomatic appointments include the re-appointment of Winnie Kiap as High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, and Alexis Maino as the roving ambassador to the Federal State of Micronesia and the Republic of Marshall Islands. Moses Kaul has been appointed Ambassador to Japan.

Anthony Lane has been appointed technical director for SLR Consulting to assist in the growth of the firm’s land quality and hydrogeological services in the Asia Pacific region.
