Education is at the centre of our programmes as we recognise that our athletes need to prepare for life after sport. Since the year 2000 Athletics PNG has provided pathways to scholarship opportunities for many athletes both in PNG and overseas, with a special emphasis on supporting female athletes due to the unique challenges they face.

Athletics remains the foundation of all sporting codes and continues to be one of the principal contributors to PNG’s medal tally at the Pacific Games. As we prepare for the Games next year, Athletics PNG is committed to delivering a high-performance program that equips our athletes with the training, exposure, and technical support required to compete at the highest level.

To advance this mission, we will host a Corporate Fundraising Dinner under the theme:

Road to Pacific Games 2027

Empowering Women – Inspiring Youth – Embracing Inclusion

This prestigious event will bring together leaders from the corporate sector, government, and development partners to invest directly in PNG’s future sporting success.

• Venue: Dynasty Seafood Restaurant, First Floor Vision City Megamall
• Date: Saturday, 28 November 2026
• Time: 6:30pm – 9:30pm
• Guest Speaker: Marcus Bai – National Sporting Icon
• Entertainment: Local artist (singer)
• Dress Code: Corporate Formal/ Tropical Formal

We invite corporate bodies and individuals to support this important initiative by purchasing tables as follows:

Corporate Table Booking – K6,000

• Table for 10 guests
• Standard event access and dining

Individual tickets may also be purchased @ K600 per head.

All funds raised will directly support:

• Elite athlete training and preparation both in PNG and overseas
• International competition exposure
• Coaching and technical development
• Youth development and talent identification
