Sarimu Kanu, Managing Director of Kumul Minerals Holdings Ltd, sat down with Business Advantage International’s Publishing Director Andrew Wilkins at the 2026 Business Advantage PNG Investment Conference in August to provide an update on its existing assets and its expansion plans.

Kanu also outlines plans to develop a national nickel hub in PNG – a major processing upgrade which would see the current nickel production double alongside downstream manufacturing of key nickel export products.

Kumul Minerals Holdings Limited not only holds the PNG State’s interests in the major Porgera and Ok Tedi mines but also has a mandate to expand its portfolio further and act as a catalyst for the next generation of mining projects.
