Morobe Mining and PNG Power Chief Executive appointments confirmed this week.
MMJV confirms chief executive appointment
The Morobe Mining Joint Venture has confirmed the appointment of Greg Jackson as Chief Executive Officer. Jackson has been acting in the position since May and has more than 34 years of international minerals experience.
Jackson was fomerly chief operating officer for Newcrest Mining Ltd, where he was responsible for mining operations in Africa, Australia, Fiji, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.
Tangit confirmed at PNG Power
John Tangit has been confirmed as the Chief Executive Officer of PNG Power Limited, after acting in the position for the last four months. PNG Power Board Chairman has also announced the appointment of Linda Maru as both the company and board secretary.
