People moves: Cabinet mini-reshuffle, Kina Bank, Steamships, Newcrest, Singapore Government, Port Moresby General Hospital, Bougainville Copper

Papua New Guinea Government names new Ministers, Kina and Newcrest get new COOs, Steamships appoints a director, new Singapore Honorary Consul-General, new head at Port Moresby General Hospital, and an addition to Bougainville Copper board.

Prime Minister James Marape has named Ian Ling-Stuckey as Treasurer. Ling-Stuckey replaces Sam Basil, who has been appointed as Minister for National Planning and Monitoring. Basil takes over the portfolio from Richard Maru.

Johnson Kalo has been appointed as Kina Bank’s new Chief Operating Officer. His previous roles were as Deputy Chief Executive Office and Chief Financial Officer at BSP.

Craig Jones has been named Newcrest Mining’s new Chief Operating Officer for PNG. Jones was previously Wafi-Golpu’s Executive General Manager.

The Board of Directors of Steamships Trading Company Ltd has elected John Bruce Rae-Smith as Non-Executive Director. He takes over from Barnaby Nicholas Swire, who retired on 12 August.

The Singapore Government has announced the appointment of Fabian Clement Kin Chung Chow as Honorary Consul-General in Port Moresby.

Paki Molumi has been elected as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Port Moresby General Hospital.

Bougainville Copper Ltd has welcomed David Osikore to its Board of Directors.
