People moves: New Britain Palm Oil, Nambawan Super, Post-Courier

New board members for New Britain Palm Oil, a new chief investment officer at Nambawan Super, and a new chairman at the Post-Courier.

People 02The new owner of New Britain Palm Oil Limited, Sime Darby, will have five members on NBPOL’s board, They are: Dato’ Henry Sackville Barlow, who will be the new chairman, Dato’ Rashidi Che Omar, Encik Rosely Kusip, Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Mohd Bakke Salleh and Datuk Franki Anthony Dass. They replace outgoing directors Antonio Monteiro de Castro, Dato’ Kamaruzzaman Abu Kassim and Encik Ahamad Mohamad.

Funds manager Nambawan Super has appointed Stephen Nash as Chief Investment Officer, replacing Michael Block. Prior to joining Nambawan Super, Nash was with PacWealth Capital limited, the licenced investment manager for NasFund, as its Chief Investment Officer.

Former Post-Courier Managing Director Don Kennedy is the new Chairman of the newspaper’s board of directors.

    A general question where are involved with a large portion of land in the Western province has 3 villages consisting of 3000 people per village. If we decide to grow palm oil would we get any assistance. We would be looking at a very large plantation thank you.
