Senior management changes at Newcrest, a new CEO at Credit Corp and university student crowned as Miss PNG 2016
Newcrest’s Craig Jetson has been promoted to the role of Executive General Manager of Lihir and Cadia. The current Executive General Manager at Cadia, Craig Jones, becomes Executive General Manager of the Wafi-Golpu copper-gold project in PNG. Phil Stephenson will become Executive general manager for Gosowong (Indonesia), Telfer (Australia) and Bonikro (Ivory Coast). He was previously Executive General Manager for Gosowong and Telfer.

Credit Corp (PNG) has announced the appointment of Torquil Bowen as the new group Chief Executive Officer. He takes over from Robert Allport, who retires after having served the company since 1987.

University of PNG student Kellyanne Limbiye, 23, was crowned Miss PNG 2016 in Port Moresby. The Pacific Assurance Group-sponsored contestant will be the country’s representative at the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant in Samoa.
