Newcrest Mining appoints another non-executive director; Acting CEO for Bemobile
Struggling gold miner Newcrest has appointed experienced director and lawyer Peter Hay to its board as a non-executive director. Hay also holds positions on several other boards, including those of ANZ, Alumina, and Epworth Healthcare.

The board of BeMobile has appointed Raj Deo, an experienced telecommunications professional, as the Acting Chief Executive Officer, He replaces Pradeep Lal, after the Fiji National Provident Fund pulled out from its offer to take a 40 per cent stake in BeMobile.
