A new chair at PNG Power, a new CEO of the National Fisheries Authority, and other appointments.
The National Executive Council (NEC) has appointed John Kasu to replace Sylvester Pokajam as head of the National Fisheries Authority. Pokajam was removed last week, after serving 12 years in the position.

PNG Power has a new board chairman. The NEC has appointed Robert Bradshaw to take over from Joshua Bakirie, who had served for the past year. The Managing Director of the Independent Public Business Corporation, Wasantha Kumarasiri, has also been appointed as a director.

The Asia Pacific Coconut Community has appointed its first Pacific Islander as executive director. Papua New Guinean Uron Neil Salum has been appointed for a three-year term in the organisation’s head office in Jakarta, Indonesia.
