Papua New Guinea Investment Conference: new speakers announced

Business Advantage International has announced new speakers and the final sponsors for the 2023 Papua New Guinea Investment Conference.

With just three months to go until PNG’s premier international investment event, the program is starting to take shape.

Speakers recently added include:

  • Marcel Schroder, the Asian Development Bank’s PNG Country Economist, who will deliver an economic update on PNG.
  • The IFC’s Jeffrey Tan will lead a session on opportunities from decarbonisation.
    KPMG Australia’s National Oil and Gas Lead Jonathan Peacock will talk about the global trend towards greater ESG requirements.
  • ExxonMobil’s Peter Larden will participate in a special session, ‘Papua LNG and beyond: PNG’s gas-led decade’.

Day One will also include a keynote address by respected financial commentator and broadcaster, Alan Kohler, while Day Two will have a strong focus on infrastructure and transport. A bonus Pacific Islands Business Briefing will provide high-level updates on PNG’s neighbouring economies.
