New Chair of Oil Search
Rick Lee, a former head of Rothschild Australia and a director of Newcrest Mining, has been appointed the new Chairman of Oil Search Limited, replacing Brian Horwood.
‘I would like to acknowledge the outstanding leadership and wise counsel Brian has provided to the Board of Oil Search since his appointment as Chairman in 2004,’ said Managing Director Peter Botten in a statement. ‘During Brian’s term as Chairman, the Company has delivered an unprecedented period of growth and value creation for its shareholders, primarily underpinned by the sanctioning of the PNG LNG Project.’
Fiona Harris will take the seat vacated by Horwood on the Oil Search board.
New Country Director for Deloitte Solomon Islands
Ben Havenga has been appointed Country Director of Deloitte PNG’s new Solomon Islands office.
