People moves: Laga Industries and diplomatic
GM of Laga Industries set to leave plus new diplomatic postings.
Phil Kelly, General Manager at food and beverage manufacturer Laga Industries, will be leaving the company at the end of June. Senior management expects to announce his replacement before the end of the month, HR manager Ludwina Philemon said.
Diplomatic appointments
Papua New Guinea’s National Executive Council has appointed top diplomats to three missions.
Rupa Mulina was named as ambassador to the United States, replacing Evan Paki; Fred Yakasa will take over as High Commissioner to the Solomon Islands after the post was left vacant by the recall of Brian Yombon Copio; and Joshua Kalinoe will take the job of ambassador to Belgium and the European Union, replacing Peter Maginde.
