Motor Vehicles Insurance Limited (MVIL) is seeking an Audit & Risk Manager. Reports to the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for developing and implementing a risk-based annual audit plan and executing audits covering all aspects of MVIL’s operations. Based in Port Moresby.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Audit and Risk Office team and ensure that the risk-based annual audit plan and objectives are implemented adequately and in a cost-effective manner.
- Review current audit & risk function including risk policy & procedures, and update these in line with current best risk practice.
- Prepare annual budget for Audit & Risk Department and maintain fiscal responsibility for the budget.
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years’ related-work experience.
- Have leadership and management experience, and be able to work with all levels of staff.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, commerce, finance or related discipline.
