Job Description:
The Director General is a legislated position reporting to the NISIT Governing Council (Board) and heads the management team that is required to deliver the functions of the National Institute of Standard & Industrial Technology. The Director General is responsible for the daily management, business, and operations of NISIT.
Requirements:
- Applicants must meet the PNG Public Service minimum person specifications and possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Preferably Physics or Chemistry) or Engineering or Technology.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration/Science Management/Engineering Management is highly preferable
- Applicant should have at least 10 year’s work experience at the Executive Management level
