Finance and Administration Manager


The reinsurance company Pacific Re Limited has a vacancy for an experienced Finance and Administration Manager.

Pacific Re Limited is a reinsurance company principally engaged in reinsurance business in Papua New Guinea and South Pacific Countries including Australia and New Zealand. The company has a vacancy and seeks immediate recruitment of a suitably qualified candidate to fill in the position Finance & Administration Manager. The candidate will be based in Port Moresby.

The candidate must possess demonstrative ability to perform prescribed duties attain desired qualification, experience and attributes but not limited to the following.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Production of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports
  • Manage payroll function, accounts payables, receivables and general ledger
  • Review and sign off on monthly GL reconciliations
  • Prepares financial forecasts

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Fully qualified CPA
  • More than 3 years experience in reinsurance/insurance accounting
  • ANZIIF Associated would be an advantage
