Savings & Loans Society wants to recruit an experienced and motivated individual for the role of Manager Marketing & Communications.

Savings & Loans Society is licensed by Bank of Papua New Guinea. It encourages savings from all sectors of the community and provides loans at affordable rates to its members. It is currently seeking to recruit a suitably qualified, experienced and highly motivated individual for the position of Manager Marketing & Communication to be based at its Port Moresby Office. Reporting to the General Manager, the Manager Marketing & Communication will plan, execute and monitor outcomes of all marketing and promotional activities, maintain reports and make recommendations for future marketing and event activities based on past performances to enable sustainable growth of the Society.

Key roles & responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute marketing activities by designing and organising promotional presentations, setting objectives, updating calendars and assembling and analysing results forecasts.
• Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to members, other supporting teams and provide instructions for use or promotion.
• Maintain a directory and inventory of marketing and customer service support materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the print and creation of new materials as needed.
• Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation.

Job requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising and Communication.
• Over 10 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience in traditional and digital marketing, events marketing and social media marketing.
• Previous experience in research using data analytics.
