Paradise, Papua New Guinea’s most-read magazine, is back in the air.

After being grounded for more than two years because of COVID-19, the award-winning Paradise magazine is back in the air with a ‘Welcome Back’ issue.

We kick things off with a bumper story on ‘The Hot 50’, with Paradise writers nominating their favourite places to eat, drink and stay in Papua New Guinea, unique PNG experiences, adventures, new PNG books to read, and even locally made TV shows to watch.

The country’s famous festival season is also underway, with many of the cultural shows that were curtailed by the pandemic back in full swing.

Paradise has a show-by-show guide to the biggest festivals, including the Goroka Show, the Morobe Show, the National Kenu and Kundu Festival, and the Mount Hagen Cultural Show.

Our writers also provide updates on some of the key cities on the Air Niugini route network. Find out what’s new and exciting in Brisbane, Cairns, Sydney and Singapore.

Air Niugini executives provide updates on how the airline has already bounced back to pre-COVID-19 passenger numbers. We also peek inside Air Niugini’s executive lounge at Port Moresby’s Jacksons International Airport, and report on the improvements at PNG’s domestic airports by the National Airports Corporation.

Paradise resumes regular publication in 2023, so look out for our next issue in January, which will be packed with even more exciting content by our talented team of local writers and photographers.
