The Asian Development Bank has appointed David Hill as the new Country Director of the Papua New Guinea resident mission in Port Moresby.

Professor Albert Mellam has resigned as the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Papua New Guinea, after four years in the position. Vincent Malaibe, the Pro Vice-Chancellor for Planning and Development, will act as vice-Chancellor until a permanent appointment is made.
